摘要: Wireless sensor network (WSN) is a technology comprising even thousands of autonomic and self-organizing nodes that combine environmental sensing, data processing, wireless multihop ad-hoc networking. The features WSNs enable monitoring, object tracking, control functionality. potential applications include condition home automation, security alarm systems, industrial monitoring control, military reconnaissance targeting, interactive games. This chapter describes low-power WSN as platform for signal processing by presenting the services can be used building blocks applications. It explains implications resource constraints expected performance in terms throughput, reliability latency.
