摘要: R. A. Fisher (1930) was perhaps the first to realize that key sex ratio evolution lay in almost trivial fact (under diploidy) everyone has one mother and father; terms of autosomal genes males females contribute equally any zygote formed. This paper shows his observations proves a useful host other related problems. It is for this intuitive reason fitness measures alteration function are often general form W = m/m + f/f. In such measure male female assigned equal weight. somewhat surprising notion continues hold under haplodiploidy (at least from mother's viewpoint). There much ignored--inbreeding, fluctuating or stochastic environments, etc. A treatment many these beyond me. will be quite interesting know how well f/f holds up alterations basic models proposed here.
