摘要: The present study demonstrates a simple protocol for the preparation of one dimensional (1D) oxidized titanium carbide nanowires and their opto-electronic properties. (Ox-TiC-NW) are prepared from TiC (TiC-NW) that in turn synthesized micron sized particles using solvothermal technique. Ox-TiC-NW is characterized by X-ray diffraction, UV-Vis spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy (TEM), scanning (SEM) Raman spectroscopy. Thermal oxidation TiC-NW yields carbon doped TiO2-NW (C-TiO2-NW), methodology to obtain 1D C-TiO2-NW. Temperature dependent spectra reveal characteristic bands TiO2-NW. Electrical characterization individual C-TiO2-NW performed fabricating device structure focused ion beam deposition properties demonstrate visible light activity parameters obtained photoconductivity measurements very good sensitivity. This opens up possibility electronic applications.
