摘要: Abstract The antibiotic sensitivity to penicillin, tetracycline, erythromycin, and chloramphenicol of staphylococci streptococci isolated from root canals has been studied. Using the high-concentration single-disk technique, a convenient method standardized with respect clinical effectiveness, it was found that 32.4 per cent were resistant penicillin 24.3 tetracycline. Of all streptococci, only enterococci displayed high incidence resistance. Eighty-three 33.3 importance routine antibiotic-sensitivity tests aid in management periapical infections discussed.
