摘要: Abstract The aim of this study was to develop a novel polymeric magnetic nanoprobe as an MRI contrast agent target hepatocytes, well evaluate the targeting ability with in vivo . Superparamagnetic iron oxide nanocrystals (SPIONs) were synthesized by thermal decomposition and seed growth method. An 1-ethyl-3-(3-(dimethylamino)-propyl) carbodiimide (EDC)-mediated reaction coupled water-soluble chitosan (WSC) linoleic acid (LA). Twelve-nanometer-sized SPIONs incorporated into core self-assembled WSC–LA nanoparticles. morphology size distribution SPION-loaded nanoparticles (SCLNs) determined transmittance electron microscopy (TEM) dynamic light scattering (DLS), respectively. encapsulation reduced cytotoxicity bare particles enhanced their dispersion water. clustering showed ultrasensitive behavior. After intravascular SCLN injection, revealed relative signal enhancement liver. localization hepatocytes confirmed Prussian blue staining TEM analysis. We have successfully developed that effectively targets hepatocytes. can be used aid diagnosis hepatic diseases.
