摘要: OBJECTIVE: Racial differences in secular changes cardiovascular disease risk factor knowledge and behaviors were assessed among adults with low levels of education throughout a community-wide prevention program. METHODS: Four independent cross-sectional telephone surveys conducted the random-digit-dialing technique 1987, 1988, 1989, 1991 biracial South Carolina community. Community-wide intervention programs initiated 1988 continued through 1990. Changes prevalence knowledge, dietary fat intake, leisure-time physical activity, smoking, cholesterol screening behavior compared between African-American white respondents population subset less than 12 years using analysis covariance regression techniques.
