摘要: A class of multi-scale damage models for the softening brittle solids induced by micro-cracks is proposed, in which evolution direct consequence micro-crack propagation. The homogenization stress and strain fields cracked unit cell yields degradation tensor, equivalence between averaged energy density homogenized material demonstrated. This relationship consistent with that obtained from asymptotic-based homogenization, it serves as an bridging vehicle damaged continua microstructure. Damage equations are this energy-bridging method. size effect law also characterized through analysis, results used to eliminate mesh dependencies damage-induced localization problems.
