Spectrum of gastrointestinal symptoms after laparoscopic fundoplication

摘要: A total of 82 patients underwent laparoscopic fundoplication between October 1991 and September 1993. Operative complications were unusual (7%), the procedure in one patient was converted to an open procedure. Postoperative including dysphagia, gas bloat, reflux recurrence also (less than 10% at 6 weeks). However, majority (96%) experienced some gastrointestinal side effects postoperative period. Such included early satiety (96%), hyperflatulence (82%), nausea (15%), odynophagia (5%), diarrhea (26%). The these faded during mean follow-up 13 months but persisted a few patients. incidence problems corresponds with reported literature for fundoplications. etiology treatment used is presented this review.
