Air entrainment into buoyant jet flames and pool fires

摘要: Abstract A simple model for the fire dynamics of turbulent fires is proposed and then used to derive correlations air entrainment into jet pool fires. Five parameters are identified control dynamics: diameter D, total buoyancy flow B∞, a force per unit mass at adiabatic stoichiometric temperature ( ΔT ad T ∞ )g , ambient density ϱ∞, fuel ratio S. These lead by dimensional arguments rates, which further refined using simplified physical model. Three distinct regimes in fires: (a) close surface where rates vary as Z 1 2 (where vertical distance from source), (b) near neck-in area 3 (c) farther downstream but below flame tip 5 . The plot experimental data proportionality coefficients determined. It shown, also, that there relationship between up visible feights; such would allow one estimate measuring heights.
