摘要: The combination of the concept metallopolymers with urethane chemistry offers a versatile approach for synthesis new polyurethane materials. Polyurethanes are distinct class materials tremendous industrial importance, and it is interest to develop these modified thermal liquid crystalline behavior advanced applications. Generally, polyurethanes suffer major disadvantage poor stability. This can be improved upon by chemical modification their structures incorporation thermally stable heterocyclic ring along transition metals. Metal-containing prepared from polymeric diol, diisocyanate metal containing diol (metallodiol metallomesogenic diol) as chain extender attracting contemporary research interest. addition (polyol) induces flexibility reducing glass temperature, increases its solubility imparts elastomeric properties. Multifunctional polymers poised applications in different avenues preference plastic electronics. An introduction-cum-overview metal-containing presented this chapter.
