摘要: Objective: According to psychoanalytic theory, interpretation of transference leads increased insight that again improved interpersonal functioning over time. In this study, we performed a full mediational analysis test whether gained during treatment mediates the long-term effects in dynamic psychotherapy. Method: This study is randomized clinical trial with dismantling design. One hundred outpatients seeking psychotherapy for depression, anxiety, personality disorders, and problems were randomly assigned 1 year weekly sessions or same type duration therapists but without use interpretation. Interpersonal measured pretreatment, posttreatment, 3 years after termination. Results: Contrary common expectation, patients life-long pattern low quality object relations disorder pathology profited more from therapy than no effect was mediated by an increase level treatment. Conclusions: Insight seems be key mechanism change Our results bridge gap between theory empirical research.
