摘要: A steady-state analytical solution is given describing the temperature distribution in a homogeneous massif perturbed by cold water flow through discrete vertical fracture. relation derived to express rate fracture as function of measured surrounding rock. These mathematical results can be useful for tunnel drilling it approaches bearing structure that induces thermal anomaly massif. During drilling, monitoring this along axis one quantify discontinuity ahead before intersecting The cases Simplon, Mont Blanc and Gotthard tunnels (Alps) are handled with approach which shows very good agreement between observed temperatures theoretical trend. rates predicted similar Simplon cases, well during drilling. However, absence information on hydraulic gradients (before drilling) specific storage prevents direct predictions discharge tunnel.
