Free vibration analysis of point-supported plates by vibration testing technique

摘要: Abstract Sweep sine-wave testing is applied for the identification of dynamic characteristics a four-point-supported square plate with free edges. The idea behind method to make use vibration time-response data such as acceleration determine natural frequencies and associated mode shapes. To compare theoretical results, detailed experimental results have been obtained various support locations lying at specified positions along diagonals. shapes first five modes predicted, variation analyzed symmetric antisymmetric modes. It found that are generally in reasonable agreement ones.
