摘要: On the morning of January 29, 1979, 16-year-old Brenda Spencer fired at elementary school across street, killing principal and janitor, wounding eight children on their way to school. The case is special interest because it was among first rampage shootings, assailant a girl. Ms. Spencer’s notorious comment, “I did for fun it—I hate Mondays…,” became refrain song that frequently played radio. author considers as an example how secret shame (that cannot be confessed or “discharged”) turns into violence. He argues accumulated victim undiagnosed epilepsy, parental divorce, repeated physical abuse sexual molestation by her father beginning age 11.
