摘要: This study presents the analysis and experimental results of a 2.4 GHz antenna array using vector modulators working as active phase shifters for beamforming. With use such an shifter, continuously controlled 360° shifting range can be achieved leading to efficient beamforming architecture. To show robustness this system, theoretical is first performed in order quantify impact I/Q mismatch on obtained gains shifts. In same way, noisy command voltages also quantified by system simulations. The maximum relative gain error close 2.5% absolute less than 3°. measured 1 dB output compression point -6 dBm. Measurements prototype including four 'patch' antennas were anechoic chamber. good agreement between radiation patterns.
