摘要: In this study, we developed and evaluated the psychometric properties of Thai Human Papillomavirus Beliefs Scale. The Scale was tested on 386 young women aged 18-24 years in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Content validity by a panel experts, construct determined using exploratory factor analysis, reliability assessed for stability internal consistency. Factor analysis provided empirical support existence four factors, which accounted 67.7% total variance: perceived susceptibility, seriousness, benefits, barriers. Cronbach's α coefficients subscales ranged from 0.59 to 0.86. Factors predicting intention receive papillomavirus vaccine were demonstrated promising properties, indicating that it might be useful instrument assessing women's human cervical cancer-associated beliefs, vaccination intention.
