摘要: Four-, five- and six-coordinated complexes of ZnII with OH-rich molecules possessing an ONO binding core were synthesized, characterized their structures established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The corresponding metal ion geometries found to be distorted tetrahedral, square pyramidal octahedral, respectively. exhibit interesting lattice such as layered corrugated sheets owing the presence a number weak intermolecular interactions. five-coordinated, water-bound complex was studied because its putative hydrolysis property towards p-nitrophenyl acetate.
