摘要: Background. The impact of donor age in paediatric kidney transplantation is unclear. We therefore examined the association donor-recipient combinations with graft survival children. Methods. Data for 4686 first transplantations performed 13 countries 1990-2013 were extracted from ESPN/ERA-EDTA Registry. effect and recipient on 5-year graft-failure risk, stratified by source, was estimated using Kaplan-Meier curves Cox regression, while adjusting sex, primary renal diseases a high risk recurrence, pre-emptive transplantation, year country. Results. failure older living donors (5075 years old) similar to that younger {adjusted hazard ratio [aHR] 0.74 [95% confidence interval (CI) 0.38-1.47]}. Deceased (DD) non-linearly associated survival, highest found youngest group [0-5 years; compared ages 12-19 aHR 1.69 (95% CI 1.26-2.26)], especially among recipients (0-11 years). DD had little recipients' years. Conclusions. Our results suggest donations provide excellent outcomes all recipients. For young recipients, allocation DDs over 5 should be prioritized
