摘要: Background & Aims Increasing rates of young-onset colorectal cancer (CRC) have attracted substantial research and media attention, but we know little about racial disparities among younger adults with CRC. We examined in CRC by comparing incidence relative survival ( Methods Using data from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, End Results program registries, estimated (per 100,000 persons 20–49 years old) 1992 through 2014 for different periods (1992–1996 vs 2010–2014) races (white black). Relative was calculated as ratio observed to expected a comparable cancer-free population. From 1992–1996 2010–2014, increased 7.5 11.0 per white individuals 11.7 12.7 black individuals. The increase rectal larger whites (from 2.7 4.5 100,000) than blacks 3.4 4.0 100,000); 2010–2014 period, had similar cancer. Compared whites, smaller increases proximal colon 55.3% 70.8%). Conclusion In an analysis database, found patient minimal difference Well-documented recent largely been due cancer, especially whites.
