摘要: The author presents an integrated analysis of the scores obtained on cognitive tests and school examinations by approximately 110 Kenyan children (aged 6-9 years) in Embu region Kenya. A dynamic multivariate model, controlling for unobserved between-children differences, is formulated estimated using three repeated observations. Children's body mass index, head circumference, hemoglobin concentration (i.e., measures biological development), grade level are important predictors higher order tests. family household's socioeconomic status positively associated with scores, children's morbidity negatively associated. Only attendance, however, significant examinations. implications results briefly discussed.
