摘要: Antiferromagnetic resonance (AFMR) at 35, 70, and 121 Gc/sec in single‐crystal synthetic natural αFe2O3 from 4.2° to 280°K has been observed. The usual low‐field AFMR as well the spin‐flop mode are observed with pulsed magnetic fields applied parallel c axis. data extend below spin reorientation transition temperature TM (about −10°C) above TM. joins smoothly canted high‐frequency terminates abruptly three modes here for first time require either high or frequencies both observation. effects of Dzyaloshinsky‐Moriya field HDM on resonance, AFMR, possible spontaneous sublattice magnetizations discussed.
