Phase equilibria and crystal chemistry in the ternary system BaO-TiO2-Nb2O5

摘要: Abstract Four new compounds were found in the BaO-TiO 2 -Nb O 5 system, each containing . Ba 6 Ti 14 Nb 39 is an 8-layer orthorhombic phase, Cmc2 1 .a = 17.138(.011), b 9.868(.011), c 18.759(.010)A˚. The other three phases have similara andb parameters (a mon ≈ orth 9.9A˚, a 17A˚). 40 99 20-layer Cmc *, withc 46.86A˚. 10 28 72 7-layer monoclinic C2m, 16.72A˚, β 101.2°. 18 54 132 13-layer 30.65A˚, 96°. compositions derived by analogy to layers 4 13 30 and 17 are consistent with limited phase equilibria data.
