摘要: Abstract This study presents a three-dimensional numerical of the mixing and segregation binary particle mixtures in two-jet spout fluidized bed based on an Eulerian–Eulerian three-fluid model. Initially, were premixed packed rectangular bed. As calculation began, gas stream was injected into from distributor jet nozzles. The model validated by comparing simulated penetration depths with corresponding experimental data. main features complex gas–solid flow behaviors mechanism analyzed. Moreover, further simulations carried out to evaluate effects operating conditions mixtures. results illustrate that can be enhanced increasing velocity or enlarging difference initial proportions
