摘要: Heat exchanger is a device in many industrial applications and energy conversion systems. Various heat exchangers are designed for different processes applications. Shell tube (STHE) has its own importance the process industries. Experimental numerical simulations carried single shell multiple pass with geometries i.e. circular tubes to elliptical tubes. The experiment was out hot fluid side cold at 600 orientation 25 % baffle cut. transfer rates pressure drops calculated various Reynolds numbers from 4000 20000. Fluent software used investigations. Both 450,600 900 orientations studies. In addition cut, quarter cut mirror arrangements comparison. experimental values of over along length STHE compared those obtained fluent software. It found that geometry 450 10 higher than existing drop decrement shows up %.
