摘要: Few free-living game species have been so intensively managed on a countrywide scale as the moose (Alces alces) in Fennoscandia. The spectacular increase densities 1970s and early 1980s created not only increased hunting opportunities an expanded commercial market for meat, but also negative consequences such damage to forests (Lavsund, 1987) high incidence of moose-related traffic accidents (Lavsund Sandegren, 1991). During approximately 1.5 million were killed Sweden. In 1991, when populations still high, 200 000 harvested Fennoscandia, which probably exceeds total legal harvest North America former Soviet Union (Bisset, 1987; Bluzma, Kelsall, 1987).
