摘要: The progress in our understanding of the endogenous protein concept over past century is reviewed. Non-dietary proteins found digesta at terminal ileum poultry, known as loss, are comprised digestive secretions, mucus and sloughed gut epithelial cells. measurement this loss fundamental importance because it an indicator metabolism essential to adjust apparent estimates ileal amino acid digestibility. losses comprise two components, namely basal specific losses. fixed associated with feed dry matter intake, whereas variable induced by presence dietary components such fibre anti-nutrients. Currently there no methodology available directly measure these calculated determining total (basal plus specific) and, then subtracting from seminal features, applications shortcomings methodologies briefly outlined well practical challenges faced using published values for true digestibility corrections. relevance taurine a component flow poultry identified first time.
