摘要: The degradation of lithospermic acid B (LAB) was investigated as a function buffer concentration, pH and temperature. Stability tests were performed using stability-indicating high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) with UV-vis detection. followed pseudo-first-order kinetics under all experimental conditions. maximum stability LAB observed at 2.0. logk(pH)-pH profile described by specific acid-base catalysis water molecules agreed the results. overall rate constant temperature given conditions obeyed Arrhenius equation. chemical fate in mild acidic solution investigated, nine products detected tentatively identified LC-MS analysis. primary pathway involving cleavage ester bond ring-opened benzofuran are proposed.
