摘要: One experiment is described, which shows the interaction between two electromagnetic fieldsE1 andE2 propagating in a gas, their frequenciesv1 andv2 being close to frequenciesvJ−1,J andvJJ+1 of adiacent rotational resonances, and intensity sufficient perturb appreciably thermal equilibrium. The shape lineJ →J + 1 modified by presence saturating field frequencyv1. Moreover new resonance observed, at frequency (EJ+1 −EJ−1)/h −v1. This interpreted as quantum effect,i.e. transition theJ − levels produced simultaneous absorption photon frequencyv1 frequencyv2.
