摘要: Abstract Stainless steel has been widely used in areas such as automotive, aeronautics, marine industry, biomedical. Particularly for the processes but also many other industrial applications, corrosion resistance of stainless needs to be improved. As well-known, surface functionalization with mono- and multi-layers organic materials is a promising solution prevent metal surfaces well. This paper concentrated on developing simple one-step method strongly attach an efficient inhibitor substrate. Benzylphosphonic acid reported easily grafted by electroreduction diazonium salt 4-aminobenzylphosphonic sulphuric medium at low reduction potential (−0.01 vs. (Ag/AgCl)/V). In combination XPS measurements, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy recorded sodium chloride solutions containing redox probes allowed us evidence presence polybenzylphosphonic covalently coated surface. The pristine modified were further characterized linear sweep voltammetry order bring out anticorrosive ability layer. Beside protection against corrosion, easy attachment aryl layer onto substrate notwithstanding components its surface, even isolating one, this work contributed enlarge applications chemistry functionalization.
