摘要: Background Though the role of amino acids in Diabetes Mellitus is controversial, beneficial effect has been reported based on its anti-glycating property and insulin potentiating effects. In current study, we evaluated ROS generation VEGF expression CHO-K1 cells induced by high glucose concentration. The treatment was studied under this condition to evaluate lowering effect. Method were treated various concentration (7 mmol, 17 mmol 27 mmol) with without free (5 mmol) or mixture (AAM). Intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) estimated fluorescein dye (DCFDA), nitric oxide (NO) Griess reaction, hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) fluorimetry using Amplex red dye, super dismutase (SOD) spectrophotometry immunoblotting. Results High significantly reduced AAM (p = 0.004). also decreased cellular levels ROS, NO, H2O2 as well SOD activity exposed (p Conclusion present study identified a potential agent that intervenes at level oxidative stress conditions cells.
