摘要: We study a Skyrme-type model with potential term motivated by Bose-Einstein condensates (BECs), which we call the BEC Skyrme model. consider two flavors of model: first is model, and second has sixth-order derivative instead term, both added BEC-motivated potential. The contains toroidally shaped Skyrmions, they are characterized integers P Q, representing winding numbers complex scalar fields along toroidal poloidal cycles torus, respectively. baryon number B = PQ. find stable Skyrmion solutions for 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 Q while 6 it only metastable. further that configurations higher > 1 all unstable split into 1. Finally discover phase transition, possibly order, in mass parameter under study.
