We aimed to estimate prevalence incidence China. used data from national urban employee resident basic medical insurance 2012 2016 cases were based primary diagnosis (International Classification Diseases (ICD) code, ICD for oncology, or text diagnosis) patients. The crude 6.88 per 100,000 population (95% CI, 5.75-8.00) 1.60 person-years (1.28-1.92), respectively. standardized 5.68 (5.64-5.72) 1.15 (1.11-1.19), Overall, rates higher males compared with females (7.89 vs. 5.79, P < 0.05) (1.84 1.30, 0.05). Both increased age, mean age (SD) patients was 57.9 (14.4) years. Prevalence peaked between 55 74 years old both genders. women aged 55-59 had a significantly high 5.53 (4.98-6.11). lower than those North America, Australia, Western Europe but same range as Japan Korea. should be one cancers spotlight socioeconomic perspectives low-resource populous countries because more elderly next decade. Further research warranted examine potential pathophysiologic mechanism.
