摘要: The purpose of this study was to (a) assess the usefulness volume load (VL), session rate perceived exertion (SRPE), RPE (RPEL), and a modified RPEL (RPEL-2) estimate internal from resistance exercise (RE) (b) further interactions between SRPE, VL, RE intensity. Twelve healthy men (25 ± 4 years) completed sessions at 55, 70, 85 1 repetition maximum (1RM). Volume load, RPEL, RPEL-2 for each were calculated, compared, correlated with change values (Δ) blood lactate salivary cortisol. There substantial increases in all measures training progressive decreases %1RM. clear Δ cortisol after 55% 1RM when compared 70 85%. Within-subject correlations small SRPE (r = 0.25; 90% confidence limits; ±0.32), 0.23; 0.19; trivial VL 0.01; ±0.28). Correlations moderate 0.42; ±0.29) 0.38; ±0.29), ±0.32) ±0.32). Correlation large 0.55; ±0.25). Although did not follow same trends as workload, may be superior RE, particularly measured through lactate. When viewing globally, offer greatest advantage. Finally, our results suggest that seems more closely related than
