摘要: The fifth international census of Whooper Swans in Britain, Ireland and Iceland was undertaken January 2005 to determine the size winter distribution Icelandic-breeding Swan population. A total 26,366 counted, which 37% were recorded Republic (9,748 birds), 25% England (6,480), 16% Northern (4,331), Scotland (4,142), 6% (1,556) < 1% Wales Isle Man (109). comparison with results previous made 2000 found that numbers swans counted had increased all countries except Wales.
