摘要: Abstract Purpose: To evaluate the visual and refractive results of photorefractive keratectomy (PRK) in eyes with atypical inferior corneal steepening (AICS). Setting: Department Ophthalmology, Hopital Morvan, University Brest, France. Methods: Using videokeratopography, we screened 310 that had PRK from November 1992 through 1993 found 35 exhibited topographic patterns consistent AICS no clinical findings. The at 6 months 1 year were compared those 185 normal topography treated concurrently. Results: There statistically significant differences between two groups mean spherical equivalent, uncorrected acuity, best spectacle-corrected acuity after PRK. Conclusion: After year, appeared to give similar topography. Further follow-up is needed.
