摘要: Results are reported here of a systematic study the electronic structure very small transition metal molecular clusters [Os3(CO)12, Os6(CO)18, Ru3(CO)12 and Ir4(CO)12] on solid surfaces as function both condensed decomposed states in terms cluster size, composition, surface coverage. The probe technique used is primarily UPS XPS photoelectron spectroscopy. Electron beam decomposition adsorbed at low temperatures carefully prepared ordered or amorphous substrates made it possible to prepare layers characterized by narrow size distribution small, stable aggregates well-defined composition size. A primary objective this work was investigate mechanisms their initial state resulting rearrangement ligands upon with reference nature substrate, properties, chemical reactivity.
