摘要: Abstract The complexation reaction of cephalosporins namely cefotaxime (CTX), cefuroxime (CRX), and cefazolin (CEFAZ) with palladium (II) ions have been studied in water DMF 25 °C by the spectrophotometric methods. method is based on formation yellow to yellowish brown complex between chloride investigated presence sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS) as surfactant. process was optimized terms pH, temperature contact time. stoichiometry all complexes found be 2:1 (metal ion/ligand) for CTX, CRX, 1:2 CEFAZ. (II)–cephalosporins estimated mole ratio continuous variation methods emphasized KINFIT program. These drugs could determined measuring absorbance each at its specific λ max . results obtained are good agreement those using official proposed successfully applied determination these compounds their dosage forms.
