摘要: The Joint Photographic Experts Group (JPEG) standard is widely used for coding still images. It very sensitive to transmission errors and can be employed successfully only when the channel nearly error free. Wireless communication channels are characterized by long bursts of data errors, average bit rates (BERs) 10−3 10−4 typical in cellular mobile radio channels. This paper presents an efficient scheme transmit JPEG-coded images over wireless In addition, some postprocessing techniques — concealment JPEG transmitted discussed. also demonstrates effectiveness a diverse set obtained from indoor experiments.
