摘要: PURPOSE: To provide an estimate of long-term prognosis for patients with osteosarcoma the extremity treated in a single institution neoadjuvant chemotherapy and observed at least 10 years. PATIENTS AND METHODS: Patients nonmetastatic were preoperatively high-dose methotrexate, cisplatin, doxorubicin (ADM). Postoperatively, good responders (90% or more tumor necrosis) received same three drugs used before surgery, whereas poor (less than 90% ifosfamide etoposide addition to those drugs. RESULTS: For 164 who entered study between September 1986 December 1989, surgery was limb salvage 136 cases (82%) histologic response 117 (71%). At follow-up ranging from 13 years (median, 11.5 years), 101 (61%) remained continuously free disease, 61 relapsed, two died ADM-induced cardiotoxicity. There no differences...
