摘要: Abstract CeO2-coated α-Fe2O3 nanoparticles (α-Fe2O3@CeO2) with the enhanced photocatalytic activity were synthesized by a hydrothermal route and performed for visible light driven photo-degradation of methylene blue (MB). The α-Fe2O3@CeO2 is greatly affected thickness CeO2 shell under same conditions. core-shell structured sample exhibited narrower band gap energy in comparison to pure bulks, leading excellent stability degradation MB irradiation after five cycle times. presented higher than that supported 8-Fe/CeO2 bulks optimized loading 8%. It can be ascribed Ce4+/Ce3+ redox couple heterojunction interfaces sample, which promote electrons transfer restrain photoexcited electron-hole recombination, irradiation.
