摘要: The administration of active compounds by the oral mucosa is an efficient method for delivery drugs and nutrients. This work aimed to develop characterize orally disintegrating films (ODFs) based on starch gelatin as carriers vitamin C. ODFs were produced using a casting technique varying concentrations (0, 20, 40, 60, 80, 100 g starch/100 g polymer) characterized in relation contact angle, opacity, surface pH, infrared spectroscopy, mechanical properties, morphology, disintegration time (in vitro vivo). Additionally, stability C was evaluated incorporation dry extract acerola (4 g/100 g filmogenic solution). Generally, presented hydrophilic characteristics with neutral pH near mouth, higher showed greater rigidity. In vivo tests indicated that may be classified rapidly disintegrating. compound, addition shorter time. Starch- gelatin-based can considered new system administering ingredients via mucosa. © 2017 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Appl. Polym. Sci. 2017, 134, 44841.
