摘要: Road Ecology is a new field of knowledge that emerged from environmental impact studies in natural areas due to the construction linear developments, such as roads, highways and railways. Serious problems linked roads have been analyzed worldwide, as: dispersion exotic species, hydrological cycle changes, microclimatic production particulate material noise, water soil contamination, habitat loss, environments fragmentation, road kill. Many conducted especially North America Europe resulting mitigation measures fauna crossings for reduction These structures restore connectivity between forests fragments permeable matrices, conservation biodiversity safety users taken into consideration when it effective animals. Sao Paulo State has 81 14 different and, particular, there was monitoring 10 underpasses, on SP-225 distributed over 51 km. The section highway study cuts through municipalities Dois Corregos, Brotas Itirapina. purpose this compare structural types, old (present prior duplication licensing), with without presence their effectiveness medium large-sized mammals usage underpasses. Three types underpasses were monitored: square concrete underpass, Armco tube tunnels third type open spam underpass. We also verified influence landscape within 50 meters (buffers) surrounding studied.
