摘要: Effective communication between healthcare professionals and patients is critical to patients’ health outcomes. The doctor/patient dialogue has been extensively researched from different perspectives, with findings emphasising a range of behaviours that lead effective communication. Much research involves self-reports, however, so behavioural engagement cannot be disentangled ratings effectiveness. In this study we used highly efficient time economic automated computer visualisation measurement technique called Discursis analyse conversational behaviour in consultations. automatically builds an internal language model transcript, mines the transcript for its conceptual content, generates interactive visual account discourse. resultant whole consultation can analysed patterns interactants. show at highlighting techniques, including accommodation, repetition.
