摘要: For the decomposition of nitrous oxide on metals and oxides, a tentative mechanism is indicated which involves quasi‐free electrons as reactants adsorbed oxygen ions intermediate product. This in accordance with experimental facts such retardation by oxygen, fractional order reaction respect to case indium catalyst, decrease electrical conductivity zinc due presence oxide. A mixture gallium oxide, however, has about same catalytic activity pure although mixed catalyst fifty times greater than that finding can be accounted for assumption between takes place vicinity an ion or anion vacancy.
