摘要: Surface-grafted macromolecules, including polymers, DNA, peptides, etc., are versatile modifications to tailor the interfacial functions in a wide range of fields. In this review, we aim provide an overview most recent progress engineering surface-grafted chains for creation complex and multiplexed surface architectures over micro- macro-scopic areas. A brief introduction grafting is given first. Then fabrication summarized with focus on controlled chain conformations, densities three-dimensional structures. Furthermore, advances highlighted generation arrays designed chemical composition both horizontal vertical dimensions. The applications such complicated macromolecular then briefly discussed. Finally, some perspective outlooks future studies challenges suggested. We hope that review will be helpful those just entering field requiring quick access useful reference information about properties, processing, performance, functional architectures.
