摘要: Ibn Sina, known as Avicenna in the West, was a celebrated Persian thinker, philosopher, and physician who is remembered for his masterpiece, The Canon of Medicine. that served an essential medical encyclopedia scholars Islamic territories Europe almost millennium consisted 5 books. In third book, described patients with symptoms carotid hypersensitivity syndrome. These patients, had excessive yawning, fatigue, flushing, dropped following pressure on their carotids. Based such history, it seems first to note sinus hypersensitivity, which presents vasovagal syncope compression artery. this paper, we presented brief account Avicenna's life works discuss description so-called syncope.
