摘要: This study constitutes one of the few works conducted on colonization recent lava flows by fish communities in coral reef environment. It attempted to describe mechanisms and environmental variables infuencing structure Piton de la Fournaise volcano at Reunion Island. also proposed some hypotheses selection speciation endemic species the southwestern Indian Ocean region, particularly diversified most Fournaise, provided a model distribution assemblage four homogeneous patterns (landscapes) retained within area. The results showed community strongly related measured variables, which depth, width island shelf, age flow distance were influential. appeared that maximum richness was shallower stations, with narrow insular located flows, near from eruption 2007 (latest volcanic event). These characteristics define harsh environment, seem well-adapted due particular their strong demographic dietary flexibility. Finally, characterized significantly different variables. areas, defined two geomorphological features, basalt blocks drop-offs, nested locations, inside outside enclosure (current caldera), hosted whose dominant diets mainly depend nature, abundance accessibility available food resources. Overall, highlights during early stages ecological succession, site is highly dependent constraints, specially origin, but physical habitat (geomorphology, substrate rugosity, percentage soft substrate) seems have little importance, while least trophic species.
