摘要: The data on the heavy metal content at different soil depths derived from a multi-purpose regional geochemical survey in Pearl River Delta (PRD) were analyzed using ArcGIS 10.0. By comparing their spatial distributions and areas, sources of metals (Cd, Hg, As Pb) quantitatively identified explored. Netted measuring points 25 ×25 km set over entire PRD according to maps. Based calculation obtained depths, concentrations Cd large area exceeded National Second-class Standard. disparity geometric centers surface deep showed that mainly came parent materials, while had high consistency profiles because deposition forming process. migration also resulted considerable ecological risk Beijiang Xijiang watershed. potential index followed order ≥ Hg > Pb As. According sources, distribution trends characteristics perspective whole area, pollution should be repaired, especially upper reaches watershed prevent explosion controlled areas with intense human activity, supervision during production strengthened maintain balance
