摘要: Abstract Leafy shoots of two Late Cretaceous conifers from the Maastrichtian type area are presented. Stomatal features indicate that these fossils belong to family Taxodiaceae. Adaxial stomatal bands found in material Cycadopsis cryptomerioides Miquel allow reassignment species genus Elatidopsis Srinivasan and Friis: comb. nov. A remarkably well-preserved specimen with amphistomatic leaves a piece flint is described here as new Cryptomeriopsis Stopes Fujii: eluvialis sp. The proposed morphotaxon accommodate taxodiaceous epistomatic, lanceolate, bifacially flattened leaves, for bearing amphistomatic, falcate adaxial more developed than abaxial ones. E. C. compared some other taxodioid European floras: Cunninghamites / Elatocladus , Geinitzia Quasisequoia Sphenolepis .
