摘要: Abstract This contribution discusses the discovery of Pb Zn mineralization in hydrocarbon exploration drill holes hosted siliciclastic Jurassic rocks below Cretaceous sediment Cu located north Huincul High. In Early Cretaceous, and basinal water expulsion took place from oil source (Los Molles Formation) into reservoir Lajas Formation (Middle Jurassic), after formation diagenetic quartz overgrowths. Marcasite, pyrite illite + illite-smectite mixed layer minerals then formed together withhydrocarbons. Marcasite (δ34S –3.5 and − 2.2‰) –11.6 to 18.1‰) precipitated via bacterial sulfate reduction fluids showing temperatures 100 °C close feeder zones at expense barite as a local sulfur source. Chalcocite group –21.3‰ −7.3‰) outwards pore spaces sandstones lower ( Cu, V U minerals. Isotope geochemistry fluid inclusion results combined with alteration ore mineralogy document processes controlling distribution base metals High region that can be applied evaluate metal potential other areas Neuquen Basin further extrapolated similar geological systems elsewhere.
